Description

A total of 300 packets were discarded within 300 seconds due to congestion.

Parameters

PortID	Indicates the port number of the HG channel.
PeerSlotID	Indicates the slot ID of the remote card.
DiscardNumber	Indicates the number of discarded packets.
Threshold	Indicates the alarm threshold for the number of discarded packets.
Interval	Indicates the interval for collecting traffic statistics.

Possible Causes

Packets are discarded because uplink traffic volume of the HG channel exceeds the downlink bandwidth capacity.

Procedure

Check whether the card uplink bandwidth is higher than the downlink bandwidth.
- If so, go to step 2.
- If not, Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command..
Re-plan the networking or replace the card for uplink traffic direction.
