Description

The DHCPv6 or DHCPv6 PD server recorded this log when an IPv6 address conflict was detected.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
PoolName	Name of the IPv6 address pool.
ClientId	Client ID.
Ipv6Address	Conflicting IPv6 address.
UserType	User type of the client. The value is DHCP.
UserMac	MAC address of the user.

Possible Causes

This IPv6 address has been in use on the network.

Procedure

Run the display dhcpv6 pool pool-name conflict address command to check whether there is an entry corresponding to the client's MAC address in the list of IP addresses in the command output.
- If there is an entry corresponding to the client's MAC address, go to step 3.
- If there is no entry corresponding to the client's MAC address, go to step 2.
Collect log and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel. You can collect diagnostic information using the display diagnostic-information command.
