AM/6/IPRELEASE: The IP address was released. (PoolName=[STRING], ClientId=[STRING], IpAddress=[IPADDR], Reason=[STRING], UserType=[STRING])

Description

An IP address is released.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

PoolName

Indicates the address pool name.

ClientId

Indicates the ID of a DHCP client.

IpAddress

Indicates the released IP address.

Reason
Indicates the reason why an IP address is released. The reason can be:
  • Client release: The client releases the IP address.
  • Lease expired: The lease expires.
  • Administrator reset: The administrator resets the IP address.

UserType

User type of the client. The value can be DHCP, PPPOE, IPSEC, PPP, L2TP, SSL-VPN and Unknown.

Possible Causes

  • The client releases the IP address.
  • The lease expires.
  • The administrator resets the IP address.

  • This log message is informational only, and no action is required.
