Description

DHCP/4/NDUSERBINDTRAPIF:OID [OID] The number of ND users on the interface exceeds alarm threshold. (IfIndex=[INTEGER], VlanIndex=[INTEGER], Interface=[OCTET], CurrentUser=[INTEGER], MaxUser=[INTEGER])

The number of ND users connected to an interface reached the upper alarm threshold.

OID

Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.

IfIndex

Indicates the interface index.

VlanIndex

Indicates the VLAN index. The value is 0.

Interface

Indicates the interface name of the device.

CurrentUser

Indicates the number of current access users.

MaxUser

Indicates the maximum number of access users.

Impact on the System

None.

Possible Causes

The number of ND snooping binding entries on an interface reached the upper alarm threshold.

Procedure

  1. Run the nd snooping max-user-number max-user-number command to adjust the maximum number of ND snooping binding entries that can be learned by an interface.
  2. Run the nd snooping user-alarm percentage percent-lower-value percent-upper-value command to configure the alarm thresholds for ND snooping binding entries.
