DHCP/4/DHCPV6_ALLOC_ADDR_CONFLICT: DHCPV6 client alloc address is conflict. (IP6 Address = [STRING], InterfaceName=[ STRING]).

Description

The IPv6 address requested by the DHCPv6 client conflicted.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

IP6 Address

This object indicates the conflicting IPv6 address.

InterfaceName

This object indicates the name of the interface that requests an IPv6 address.

Possible Causes

  • The requested IPv6 address has been configured.

  • Other users in the network use the requested IPv6 network.

Procedure

  1. Run the display dhcpv6 client [ interface interface-type interface-number ] command to check whether the DHCPv6 client can request an IPv6 address. If the DHCPv6 client has requested an IPv6 address, go to step 3. If the DHCPv6 client fails to request an IPv6 address, go to step 2.
  2. Contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.
