EOAM_Y1731/4/AISDEFECTALARM: OID [OID] MEP enters AIS defect condition. (MdIndex=[INTEGER], MaIndex=[INTEGER], MdName=[STRING], MaName=[STRING], MepID=[INTEGER])

An MEP received an AIS PDU and entered the faulty state.

Impact on the System

Service instances bound to the MA to which the MEP belongs is unavailable.

Possible Causes

The MEP received an AIS PDU carrying an MD level lower than the level of the MD to which the MEP belongs.

Procedure

  1. Check whether a fault occurs in an MA with the lower MD level.

    Run the display cfm remote-mep command to view the value of the CFM Status field.
    • If the value of the CFM Status field is Down, an MA fails. Rectify the fault.
    • If the value of the CFM Status field is Up, go to step 3.

  2. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.
