- If no new physical link was added, go to Step 3.
Check whether the added physical link is required.
- If the added physical link is required, this trap message is informational only and no action is required.
- If the added physical link is not required, go to Step 4.
Check whether an interface added to the ERPS ring went Up or Down.
- If an interface added to the ERPS ring went Up or Down, this trap message is informational only and no action is required.
- If no interface added to the ERPS ring went Up or Down, go to Step 4.
Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
