IFPDT/4/VXLANHASHNOTSUPPORT:OID [oid] The Eth-Trunk cannot function normally as an outbound interface for vxlan packets when IP address-based load balancing is configured. (InterfaceIndex=[INTEGER], InterfaceName=[STRING])

When an Eth-Trunk functions as the outbound interface of VXLAN packets, the IP address-based load balancing mode configured on the Eth-Trunk does not take effect for VXLAN packets.

Impact on the System

When an Eth-Trunk functions as the outbound interface of VXLAN packets, the IP address-based load balancing mode configured on the Eth-Trunk does not take effect for VXLAN packets.

Possible Causes

When the Eth-Trunk functions as the outbound interface of VXLAN packets, the IP address-based load balancing mode is configured on the Eth-Trunk.

Procedure

  1. Run the load-balance command to configure the Eth-Trunk to load balance traffic based on MAC addresses or set the load balancing mode to enhanced mode. Check whether the alarm is cleared.
    1. If the alarm is cleared, go to step 3.
    2. If the alarm is not cleared, go to step 2.
  2. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
  3. End.
