ISIS/4/RCV_ERRSELFLSP_SMB:ISIS [process-id] received an incorrect backup self LSP on the slave board. (LspId=[STRING], Level=[STRING], Reason=[STRING], SeqNum=[STRING], TlvType=[USHORT], TlvLength=[USHORT])

Description

The slave board received the incorrect self-LSP.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

[process-id]

indicates the ID of an IS-IS process.

LspId

indicates the ID of an LSP.

Level

indicates the IS-IS level.
  • 1: Level-1

  • 2: Level-2

Reason

indicates the cause for the error:
  • Wrong LSP length: indicates that the length of the received LSP is incorrect.

  • Wrong TLV length: indicates that the TLV length is incorrect.

  • Receive reduplicate TLV: indicates that the duplicated TLV is received.

  • Wrong TLV place: indicates that the location of the TLV is incorrect.

  • Encoding after Nbr TLV: indicates that the IS-IS process receives the area address TLV after receiving the NBR TLV.

  • Detect invalid MT ID: indicates that the unavailable MT ID is detected.

  • Wrong TLV format: indicates that the TLV format is incorrect.

  • Unknown TLV type: indicates the unknown TLV type.

  • Had received more than three area address(es): indicates that the IS-IS process has received more than three area addresses.

  • Received too long area address: indicates that the too long area address is received.

  • Received wrong area address length: indicates that the length of the area address TLV is incorrect.

  • Received invalid area address: indicates that the current area address is unavailable.

  • Received more than three area address(es): indicates that there are more than three area addresses in the TLV.

SeqNum

indicates the sequence number of an LSP.

TlvType

indicates the TLV type.

TlvLength

indicates the TLV length.

Possible Causes

The slave board received the incorrect self-LSP.

Procedure

  1. Collect the debugging information and the log to check the contents of the LSP on the slave board and then compare it with the LSP on the main board to locate the fault.
