Impact on the System

If an LSP in an LDP virtual tunnel carries services, services may be interrupted.

Possible Causes

All the LDP ingress LSPs under a certain LDP virtual tunnel are deleted.

Procedure

  • If no services are carried over the LSP under the flapping LDP virtual tunnel, no action is required. If services are carried, run the display mpls last-info lsp-down verbose command to check the FEC field in the command output. Find the tunnel whose FEC field value is the same as the FecNodeIpAddress value. Then, check the tunnel flapping cause based on the Down Reason field and rectify the fault accordingly.
