MFIB/4/FREE_MID_TO_MAX: MID allocation fails because the number of MIDs allocated to instances [current-number] has reached the upper limit: [max-number]. (Protocol=[STRING], Vpn=[STRING], FileLine=[STRING][STRING])

Description

Failed to allocate an MID because the number of allocated MIDs of all instances reached the upper limit.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[current-number] Indicates the number of current allocated MIDs.
[max-number] Indicates the permitted maximum number of allocated MIDs.
Protocol Indicates the flag of IPv4 or IPv6.
Vpn Indicates the name of a VPN instance.
FileLine Indicates the name of the source code file and the line number.

Possible Causes

The number of allocated MIDs of all instances reached the upper limit.

Procedure

  1. Run the display diagnostic-information command, save the command output, and then contact technical support personnel.
