MFIB/4/REACH_TO_MAX:Current route number [route-number] reached the route limit: [route-limit]. (Protocol=[STRING], Vpn=[STRING], FileLine=[STRING][STRING])

Description

The current routing entries reached the maximum value supported by the device.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[route-number] Number of routing entries.
[route-limit] Maximum number of routing entries supported by the device.
Protocol Indicates the flag of IPv4 or IPv6.
Vpn VPN name.
FileLine Name of the source code file and the line number of this log message.

Possible Causes

The current routing entries reached the maximum value supported by the device.

Procedure

  • If services are not affected, no action is required.
  • If services are affected and the routing entries belong to the public network, run the multicast forwarding-table route-limit limit command in the system view to increase the maximum number of routing entries that can be maintained in the multicast forwarding table. If the routing entries belong to a VPN, run the multicast forwarding-table route-limit limit command in the VPN instance view to increase the maximum number.
  • If increasing the maximum number is not allowed due to the processing capability limit of the system, Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
