MRM/3/GETSOCKET_E:In VPN instance "[vpn-instance-name]", MRM failed to get backup socket ID of [protocol-name]. The error code was [error-code]. (FlCode=[STRING][ULONG])

Description

When creating a socket, the slave board failed to obtain the backup socket ID from the master board.

Parameters

[protocol-name]	Indicates the name of the protocol. The value can be: GMP PIM MRM PUBLIC
[error-code]	Indicates the error code. The value can be: -1: The socket is invalid.
FlCode	Indicates the name of the source code file and the line number of this log message.

Possible Causes

Communication fails, causing the backup failure of the socket ID.

Programs on the slave board or cooperative programs on the master or slave board are processed abnormally.

Procedure

Restart the slave board.
Run the undo multicast routing-enable command or the undo multicast ipv6 routing-enable command to delete multicast configurations, and then reconfigure related multicast commands.
