Description

Conflicting interface addresses were detected in an OSPF area.

Possible Causes

Two indirectly connected routers in an area were configured with the same IP address, and one of the routers functioned as the DR and advertised network LSAs, causing constant route flapping.

Procedure

Modify the IP addresses of the routers to ensure that each router in the area is configured with a unique IP address.
