Description

The PIM Assert state information changed in PIM routing entries.

Possible Causes

Cause 1:

Duplicate traffic was received on a shared network segment.

Cause 2:

The PIM Assert state timed out.

Procedure

Run the display pim routing-table fsm command to check the Assert state information of the (S, G) entry.
If the (S, G) entry's Assert state is normal, go to Step 3.

If the (S, G) entry's Assert state is abnormal, go to Step 2.
Run the reset pim [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name ] routing-table group group-address mask { group-mask-length | group-mask } source source-address interface interface-type interface-number command to delete PIM status information from PIM entries.
