Description

The received PIM packet was discarded because the checksum was incorrect.

Possible Causes

1. Bad conditions of the link lead to the transmission error.

2. The received packet is an attack PIM packet.

Procedure

If the fault occurs occasionally, the fault may be caused by link transmission, and this log message can be ignored.
If the fault occurs frequently, check the link conditions and use the packet header obtaining tool to obtain PIM packets. Obtain information about manufacturers and versions of other devices in the shared network and network topology, and then contact technical support personnel.
