Description

POE/4/POEPWABSENT: OID [OID] PoE power is absent. (FrameID=[INTEGER], SlotID=[INTEGER])

An alarm is triggered when no PoE power supply on a PoE device is working properly.

Parameters

Name Meaning
OID Indicates the MIB object ID of the alarm.
FrameID Indicates the chassis ID of a device in a stack.
SlotID Indicates the slot ID of the PoE power supply.

Impact on the System

Services are not affected.

Possible Causes

No PoE power supply on the PoE device is working properly.

Procedure

  1. Run the display device command to check whether power modules of the PWR or PWH type are properly installed.

    • If not, install a PoE power module. The alarm handling ends.
    • If so, go to step 2.

  2. Run the display poe information command to check whether the power of the PoE power module is in the normal range.

    • If so, collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
    • If not, replace this PoE power module.
