REASM/5/FRAGSTAT:Abnormal IP fragment statistics. (SyslogId=[ULONG], OverlapPkts=[ULONG], SuperPkts=[ULONG])

Description

Statistics on IP fragmentation anomalies.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
SyslogId Log ID.
OverlapPkts Number of packets with different overlapping contents. Overlapping contents refer that the overlapping contents of IP packet fragments. The device considers such fragmented IP packets as abnormal.
SuperPkts Number of large fragments.

Possible Causes

IP fragment anomalies occurred on the network.

Procedure

  1. This log message indicates a normal situation, and no action is required.
