RM/4/PFXNUM_EXCD_WARN:The number of prefixes in [vpn-instance-name] was [current-number], which exceeded the alarm threshold [threshold]. (InstanceId=[ULONG], MaxPrefixLimit=[ULONG])

Description

This log message is displayed when the number of route prefixes exceeds the alarm threshold but does not exceed the permitted maximum value and a new route is to be added. The interval for displaying this log message can be set through a command.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[vpn-instance-name] Indicates the name of a VPN instance.
[current-number] Indicates the number of current route prefixes.
[threshold] Indicates the alarm threshold for the number of route prefixes.
InstanceId Indicates the instance ID.
MaxPrefixLimit Indicates the permitted maximum number of route prefixes.

Possible Causes

This log message is displayed when the number of route prefixes exceeds the alarm threshold but does not exceed the permitted maximum value and a new route is to be added. The interval for displaying this log message can be set through a command.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the permitted maximum number of route prefixes or alarm threshold needs to be increased.
