  • The number of interfaces that are Up in the OSPF single process exceeds the upper alarm threshold.

If both the service ID and resource type are 1, the service index indicates the OSPF process ID.

Impact on the System

If both the service ID and resource type are 1, excess interfaces that are added to the OSPF process cannot establish OSPF neighbor relationships, which may lead to service interruptions.

Possible Causes

If both the service ID and resource type are 1, the number of interfaces that are Up in the OSPF single process exceeded the upper alarm threshold.

Procedure

  1. Both the service ID and resource type are 1.
    1. Run the display ospf [ process-id ] brief command in any view to check whether unneeded interfaces exist in the OSPF process.

      • If unneeded interfaces exist in the OSPF process, go to step b.
      • If unneeded interfaces do not exist in the OSPF process, go to step c.

    2. Delete unneeded interfaces from the OSPF process and then check whether the alarm is cleared.

      • If the alarm is cleared, go to step d.
      • If the alarm persists, go to step c.

    3. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
    4. End.
