VRRP/4/STATEWARNINGEXTEND:Virtual Router state [State], because of [Reason]. (Interface=[STRING], VrId=[ULONG], InetType=[STRING])

Description

When the VRRP status changed, the following information is logged, the interface name, status change, and reason of the status change.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
[State] Status change, which can be:

1. "INITIALIZE changed to MASTER"

2. "BACKUP changed to MASTER"

3. "MASTER changed to BACKUP"

4. "MASTER changed to INITIALIZE"

5. "MASTER changed to NOTACTIVE"
[Reason] Status change reason, which can be:
  1. priority calculation
  2. protocol timer expired
  3. track interface
  4. track BFD session
  5. link BFD session down
  6. link BFD session up
  7. link BFD session deleted
  8. peer BFD session down
  9. interface up
  10. interface down
  11. create notactive
  12. create initialize
  13. standby deleted
  14. BFD configure deleted
  15. EFM configure deleted
  16. EFM session down
  17. EFM session up
  18. ignore interface down
  19. CFM session down
  20. CFM fault removal
  21. interface deleted
  22. status backup from the AMB to SMB
  23. ipsec-instance configure deleted
  24. ipsec-instance down
  25. ipsec-instance up
  26. CFM configure deleted
  27. CFM session up
  28. other
Interface Interface name
VrId VRID of the VRRP backup group
InetType Network type

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The device or the link was faulty.

Cause 2: The device or the link was recovered.

Cause 3: The configuration changed.

Procedure

  1. If the device was faulty, check the status of the interface configured with VRRP.
  2. If the link was faulty, check the status of the link configured with VRRP.
  3. If the device or the link was recovered, no action is required.
  4. If the configuration changed, check the VRRP configuration.
