WEP key ID collision has occurred.

The function is not supported by AirEngine 5760-22W, AirEngine 5760-22WD, AirEngine 5760-51, AirEngine 6760-X1, AirEngine 6760-X1E, AirEngine 6760R-51, AirEngine 6760R-51E, AirEngine 8760-X1-PRO, AirEngine 8760R-X1, AirEngine 8760R-X1E, and AirEngine 9700D-M.

Parameters

Name Meaning

OID

Indicates the ID of the MIB object.

APMAC

Indicates the table index.

WepIDConflictTrapAPMAC

Indicates the MAC address of an AP.

WepIDConflictTrapAPName

Indicates the AP name.

WepIDConflictTrapRadioId

Indicates the radio ID configured on the AP when the collision happens.

WepIDConflictTrapPreSSID

Indicates the SSID configured before the collision.

WepIDConflictTrapCurrSSID

Indicates the SSID configured when the collision happens.

WepIDConflictTrapCipherIdx

Indicates the WEP key ID that causes the collision.

APID

Indicates the AP ID.

Impact on the System

Users fail to go online.

Possible Causes

Different WEP key IDs are configured in the security profiles bound to different VAPs.

Procedure

  1. Run the wep key command to change key-id in the security profiles.

    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.
    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 3.

  2. Collect alarm messages, log messages, and configurations, and then contact the technical support personnel.
  3. End.
