WLAN/3/DTLS_PSK_SET_FAIL: Failed to deliver DTLS PSK. (LinkID=[ULONG], ClientMac=[OPAQUE], Reason=[STRING])

Description

Failed to deliver the PSK when the CAPWAP tunnel is encrypted using DTLS.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning
LinkID Indicates the CAPWAP tunnel ID.
ClientMac Indicates the MAC address of DTLS negotiation packet receiver.
Reason
Indicates the reason why DTLS encryption failed.
  • Message send fail: The sender fails to send packets.
  • Response message decode error: The sender fails to parse the received response packet because the response packet is invalid.
  • Response message return error: The sender receives a notification indicating that the receiver fails to parse packets.
  • Message timeout: The sender does not receive any response packet.

Possible Causes

The link between the sender and receiver was faulty.

Procedure

  1. Check whether the link between the sender and receiver is working properly.

    • If so, go to 2.
    • If not, go to 3.

  2. Restart the receiver and check whether the log is still generated.

    • If so, go to 3.
    • If not, go to 4.

  3. Collect traps, logs, and configurations, and contact technical support personnel.
