The beamforming disable command disables Beamforming.
The undo beamforming disable command enables Beamforming.
By default, Beamforming is enabled.
This configuration is valid only for APs of V200R019C10 and later versions.
Usage Scenario
Beamforming is a signal processing technique that controls signal transmission direction, and transmission and reception of radio signals. The transmit end uses weight to transmit signals. The signals are transmitted to the destination as narrow beams. Beamforming increases the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) for the destination device.
Precautions
If nodes on the Mesh network are fixed and distant from each other, enable Beamforming to increase Mesh link SNR. Mobile nodes may cause low link SNR in Mesh scenarios. To prevent this problem, disable Beamforming.
The Beamforming function is dependent on the MU-MIMO function. Before disabling beamforming, you must run the mu-mimo disable command to disable MU-MIMO.
