Deleting an ACL
Context
When the usage of ACL resources on a device reaches the maximum, you can deploy new ACLs only after deleting unnecessary ACL configurations.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Perform either of the following operations based on the site requirements:
Run undo acl { [ number ] acl-number | all }
Or run undo acl name acl-name
An ACL is deleted.
Run undo acl ipv6 { all | [ number ] acl6-number }
Or undo acl ipv6 name acl6-name
An ACL6 is deleted.
An ACL or ACL6 can be deleted even when they are referenced by service modules (except when a simplified traffic references the specified rule in the ACL or ACL6). Therefore, ensure that an ACL or ACL6 is not referenced by service modules before deleting it.
