Setting an ACL Resource Usage Threshold

Context

Once a device starts running the ACL or ACL6 service, ACL resources will be occupied. You can set the CL resource usage threshold at which an alarm will be generated.

When the ACL resource usage (that is, the ratio of existing ACL entries to the maximum number of ACL entries supported by the device) is higher than or equal to the threshold, the device generates an alarm. When the ACL resource usage is lower than or equal to the lower threshold, the device generates a clear alarm.

Procedure

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the acl threshold-alarm { upper-limit upper-limit | lower-limit lower-limit } * command to set the alarm threshold percentage of ACL resource usage.

By default, the lower alarm threshold percentage is 70, and the upper alarm threshold percentage is 80.
