Switching IEEE 802.1ag Versions
Context
By default, IEEE 802.1ag Standard 802.1ag-2007 is enabled on a device. Perform the following operations on each device where IEEE Draft 7 needs to be used.
Procedure
- Run system-view
The system view is displayed.
- Run cfm version { draft7 | standard }
The IEEE 802.1ag version is switched.
By default, IEEE Standard 802.1ag-2007 is enabled on a device.
All the devices in an MA must be enabled with either IEEE 802.1ag Draft 7 or IEEE Standard 802.1ag-2007. Otherwise, these devices cannot exchange CFM packets with each other.
