When a device becomes faulty, you can run the following commands to view historical alarms and existing alarms, which can be useful for troubleshooting or learning about the device running status.
Procedure
Run the display trapbuffer command to view the alarms recently generated on the device. Alarms are recorded into a log file. You can view the log file to check historical alarms.
Run the display alarm active command to view the alarms that are not cleared after the device starts.
Run the display alarm history command to view the historical alarms that are recorded after the device starts.
Run the display alarm urgent [ slotslot-id | timeinterval ] command to view alarms about hardware management.
