Monitoring the Running Status of DNS

Context

In routine maintenance, you can run the following command in any view to check the running status of DNS.

Procedure

  • Run the display dns server [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all ] command to check information about DNS servers.
  • Run the display dns domain [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all ] command to check information about domain name suffixes.
  • Run the display ip host [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all ] command to check static DNS entries.
  • Run the display dns dynamic-host [ vpn-instance vpn-instance-name | all ] command to check dynamic DNS entries.
