Network Planning
Figure 1 shows the agile campus networking. Two S12708 agile switches are deployed to set up a cluster switch system (CSS) at the core layer. The S5700-LI switches at the aggregation and access layers are enabled with only Layer 2 forwarding (the S7700 core switches in the original networking are used at the aggregation layer). Some APs are deployed in the campus as needed. The S5700-LI switches are deployed at the access layer to connect to and manage wired users and APs, providing wired and wireless coverage for the campus.
The requirements for NEs shown in Figure 1 are as follows:
Core switch
Agile switches are used at the core layer. If modular switches are used as agile switches, X series cards need to be installed on the switches to implement wired and wireless convergence.
Aggregation and access switches

Agile Controller
The Agile Controller integrates functions of the RADIUS server, Portal server, and free mobility controller, facilitating service adjustment. When a user connects to the network from different locations, the free mobility controller uniformly delivers network access rights to ensure that the user can have the same network access rights at different locations.
eSight network management system (NMS)
eSight provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to help manage network devices, perform configurations, and facilitate convenient and visual management.
