If the master switch in a stack fails, manually perform a master/standby switchover. After the master/standby switchover is complete, the previous master switch joins the stack after restarting, and the previous standby switch becomes the new master switch.
Before performing an active/standby switchover, run the display switchover state command to check whether the system meets active/standby switchover requirements. During an active/standby switchover, ensure that the standby switch is in real-time backup state.
The active/standby switchover status is displayed. According to the status, determine whether the stack meets switchover requirements.
