(Optional) Disabling an Interface from Being Involved in IPv4 LFA Calculation

Context

IS-IS Auto FRR can fast switch traffic to a backup link, ensuring millisecond-level traffic interruption. This protects traffic and improves IS-IS network reliability. Perform the following steps on the IS-IS interface to be disabled from participating in the Loop-Free Alternate (LFA) calculation:

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface interface-type interface-number

    The interface view is displayed.

  3. Run undo isis lfa-backup [ level-1 | level-2 | level-1-2 ]

    The interface is disabled from participating in the LFA calculation.
