Monitoring the Running Status of BGP/MPLS IPv6 VPN

Context

Monitoring the running status of BGP/MPLS IPv6 VPN involves checking IPv6 VPN instance information, VPNv6 peer information, and BGP peer log information. In routine maintenance, you can run the following commands in any view to check the running status of the BGP/MPLS IPv6 VPN.

Procedure

Run the display ipv6 routing-table vpn-instance vpn-instance-name command to view the IP routing table of the VPN instance IPv6 address family.
Run the display ip vpn-instance [ verbose ] [ vpn-instance-name ] command to view information about the VPN instance.
Run the display bgp vpnv6 { all | route-distinguisher route-distinguisher | vpn-instance vpn-instance-name } routing-table ipv6-address [ prefix-length ] command to view the BGP VPNv6 routing entries.
Run the display bgp vpnv6 { all | route-distinguisher route-distinguisher | vpn-instance vpn-instance-name } routing-table statistics command to view statistics on the BGP VPNv6 routing table.
Run the display bgp vpnv6 { all | route-distinguisher route-distinguisher | vpn-instance vpn-instance-name } routing-table command to view information about the BGP VPNv6 routing table.
