Disabling Real-Time MAC Address Synchronization Suppression

Context

By default, real-time MAC address synchronization suppression is enabled on a device. With this function enabled, if a large number of real-time MAC address synchronization packets are generated due to persistent MAC address flapping, real-time MAC address synchronization suppression will be triggered. This will result in problems such as delay in obtaining DHCP addresses in terminal roaming scenarios. To address such problems, disable real-time MAC address synchronization suppression triggered by MAC address flapping.

Procedure

  1. Run system-view

    The system view is displayed.

  2. Run mac-address flapping mac-syn-suppress disable

The real-time MAC address synchronization suppression triggered by MAC address flapping is disabled.

By default, MAC address synchronization suppression triggered by MAC address flapping is enabled.
