By default, the Switch discards IGMP Query messages sent from users in a VLAN after MFF is enabled in the VLAN. If IGMP snooping is also enabled in the VLAN, the Switch still processes IGMP Query messages sent from users because IGMP snooping takes precedence over MFF. IGMP Query messages are then broadcast in the VLAN and forwarded to network-side devices. This affects IGMP querier election on the upstream devices and causes multicast service failures.
In this scenario, configure the Switch to discard IGMP Query messages sent from users.
