Verifying the Basic MLD function Configuration

Context

After basic MLD functions are configured, run the following commands in any view to check the MLD configuration, running status, and information about receiver hosts.

Procedure

Run the display mld interface [ interface-type interface-number | up | down ] [ verbose ] command to check the MLD information on an interface.
Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address | interface interface-type interface-number ] ^* [ verbose ] command to check information about MLD groups that hosts have dynamically joined by sending Multicast Listener Report messages.
Run the following commands to check information about receiver hosts in a static MLD multicast group:
- Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address ] static [ up | down ] [ verbose ] command to check information about the Up or Down interface in a static MLD multicast group.
- Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address ] static interface-number command to check the number of interfaces in a static MLD multicast group.
- Run the display mld group [ ipv6-group-address ] interface interface-type interface-number static [ verbose ] command to check information about a static MLD multicast group on a specified interface.
- Run the display mld group static interface interface-type interface-number entry-number command to check the number of static MLD multicast groups on a specified interface.
