Verifying the Configuration of Parameters for Controlling the MFIB

Context

After configuring parameters for controlling the MFIB, check the MFIB to verify that the multicast network is operating properly.

Procedure

  • Run the display multicast forwarding-table [ group-address [ mask { group-mask | group-mask-length } ] | source-address [ mask { source-mask | source-mask-length } ] | incoming-interface { interface-type interface-number | register } | outgoing-interface { include | exclude | match } { interface-type interface-number | register | none } | { statistics | verbose } ] * command to check the multicast forwarding table.
