Huawei iMaster NCE-Campus is a core component in the Huawei CloudCampus Solution and centrally manages Huawei network devices, such as access points (APs), access routers (ARs), switches, and firewalls. iMaster NCE-Campus implements unified multi-tenant management, allows plug-and-play network devices, supports batch network service deployment, and provides APIs to interoperate with third-party platforms for value-added service expansion.
A registration query center is a main component in the Huawei CloudCampus Solution and allows devices to query the NETCONF enabling configuration and home iMaster NCE-Campus. iMaster NCE-Campus synchronizes the device information imported by administrators to the registration query center in real time. Switches then send requests to the registration query center, automatically enable the NETCONF function, obtain the iMaster NCE-Campus's address information, and become plug and play.
A management VLAN is the VLAN to which the interface connecting a switch to a DHCP server belongs in the Huawei CloudCampus Solution, and is maintained and delivered to the switch by iMaster NCE-Campus.
A Plug and Play VLAN (PnP VLAN) is the VLAN used to implement plug and play of switches. This VLAN is preconfigured on and maintained by iMaster NCE-Campus. It is automatically delivered to a switch after the switch registers with iMaster NCE-Campus. The PnP VLAN and management VLAN can be the same or different.
