Enabling NetStream Flexible Flow Statistics Collection on an Interface
Context
When configuring flexible NetStream, you must enable flow
statistics collection and apply a flexible flow statistics template
on an interface to ensure that statistics are exported successfully.
Procedure
Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
Run the interfaceinterface-typeinterface-number command to enter the interface view.
Run the port ip netstream recordrecord-name [ inbound | outbound ] command to apply the flexible flow
statistics template to the interface.
If the vlan parameter is configured in the flexible flow statistics template, it is recommended that the template be applied to Layer 2 Ethernet interfaces.
If the input parameter is configured in the flexible flow statistics template, the template can be applied only to the inbound direction of an interface. If the output parameter is configured in the flexible flow statistics template, the template can be applied only to the outbound direction of an interface.
Enable flow statistics collection function on an interface.
Run the ip netstream { inbound | outbound } command to enable the NetStream
function on the interface to collect statistics about IPv4 flows.
Run the ipv6 netstream { inbound | outbound } command to enable the NetStream
function on the interface to collect statistics about IPv6 flows.
By default, IPv4 and IPv6 flow statistics are not collected.
When the IPv4 and IPv6 flow statistics collection function is enabled on the interface, statistics about unicast and multicast packets are collected.
After the statistics collection function is enabled for IPv4 and IPv6 flows, the statistics are independent of each other.
