The Open Programmability System (OPS) is an open platform that provides Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to achieve programmability.
As networks are developing rapidly, some customers require devices with certain openness, on which they can develop their own functions and deploy private management policies to realize automatic management and maintenance, lowering management costs. Traditional network devices provide only limited functions and predefined services and cannot meet diversified user requirements. To meet the preceding customer requirements, Huawei offers the OPS, an open platform with programmability. The OPS allows users or third-party developers to develop and deploy network management policies using open APIs and define their own functions.
