Verifying the OSPF IP FRR Configuration

Prerequisites

All OSPF IP FRR configurations are complete.

Procedure

Run the display ospf [ process-id ] routing command to check information about the primary and backup links after OSPF IP FRR is enabled.

View the routes to the specified OSPF device.

<HUAWEI> display ospf routing 192.168.4.0

The preceding information shows that a backup route is generated on the switch, including information about the backup next hop: Backup NextHop, Backup Interface, and Backup Type indicating the address, outbound interface, and type of the backup next hop respectively.
