Suppressing the Advertisement of Interface IP Addresses

Procedure

• Suppress the advertisement of the IP addresses of all interfaces in an OSPF process.
  1. Run system-view

     The system view is displayed.

  2. Run ospf [ process-id ]

     The OSPF process view is displayed.

  3. Run suppress-reachability

     The advertisement of the IP addresses of all interfaces in the OSPF process is suppressed.

     By default, all interfaces in an OSPF process advertise their IP addresses.

• Suppress the advertisement of the IP addresses of a specified interface.
  1. Run system-view

     The system view is displayed.

  2. Run interface interface-type interface-number

     The OSPF interface view is displayed.

  3. Run ospf suppress-reachability

     The advertisement of the IP addresses of a specified interface is suppressed.

     By default, all OSPF interfaces advertise their IP addresses.
