Configure a non-backbone area on the border of an AS as a not-so-stubby area (NSSA) to reduce entries in routing tables and the amount of routing information transmitted. An NSSA allows the transmission of Type 7 LSAs, which are generated by ASBRs in an NSSA. These LSAs are converted into Type 5 LSAs in the NSSA and advertised to other areas.
Before configuring an OSPFv3 NSSA, configure basic OSPFv3 functions.
