Verifying the OSPFv3 IP FRR Configuration

Procedure

• Run the display ospfv3 [ process-id ] routing command to check information about the primary and backup links after OSPFv3 IP FRR is enabled.

  View the routes to the specified OSPFv3 device.

  The preceding information shows that a backup route is generated on the switch, including information about the backup next hop: Backup NextHop, Backup Interface, and Backup Type indicating the address, outbound interface, and type of the backup next hop respectively.
