(Optional) Configuring BFD for PW
Context
BFD for PW is recommended because it speeds up fault detection.
You can configure static BFD for PW or dynamic
BFD for PW on the PE devices at both ends of a PW.
- To configure static BFD for PW, BFD parameters must be specified. Static BFD for PW applies to small-size networks.
- To configure dynamic BFD for PW, BFD parameters do not need to be specified. Dynamic BFD for PW applies to large-size networks.

- BFD for PW on both PEs at the two ends must be configured or deleted simultaneously. Otherwise, the statuses of PWs on the PEs are inconsistent.
