Mesh Interconnection Requirements

On a Mesh network, radios of APs with 802.11ac chips can interconnect only with radios of neighbors with 802.11ac chips, and radios of APs with 802.11n chips can interconnect only with radios of neighbors with 802.11n chips. Table 1 lists types of radio chips used by AP models.
