Application Scenarios for sFlow
In order to prevent and limit traffic and service interruptions, as well as locate the source of potential attack traffic, enterprises need to monitor traffic statistics in real time. sFlow collects traffic, forwarding, and device status information to allow for real-time network monitoring and fault location on enterprise networks.
As shown in Figure 1, after sFlow configurations are performed on an sFlow agent. The agent is connected to an sFlow collector so that traffic statistics can be collected and analyzed based on interfaces.
