1:N Mirroring Specifications

Concept

1:N mirroring copies packets from a mirrored source to N observing ports.

Only observing port groups can be used to implement 1:N VLAN mirroring, MAC address mirroring, and traffic mirroring. An observing port group consists of multiple physical interfaces that all function as observing ports.
In port mirroring, if a mirrored port is bound to an observing port group in one direction, other observing ports cannot be bound to the mirrored port in this direction.

Specifications

This section provides the specifications of 1:N port mirroring. The N values of other 1:N mirroring features are the same as those of 1:N port mirroring.

In V200R003 and earlier versions, Huawei S series fixed switches do not support 1:N mirroring.
