MAC swap loopback is a basic feature of a switch and is not under license control.
All models of S2720, S5700, and S6700 series switches support MAC SWAP Loopback. The S5735-L, S5735S-L, S5735S-L-M, S5735-S, S5735-S-I, and S5735S-S support only remote MAC swap loopback.
For details about software mappings, visit Hardware Query Tool and search for the desired product model.
The MAC swap loopback test cannot be used with the ACL (including the ACL used in CAR, traffic statistics, and 802.1p priority re-marking) that matches the source and destination MAC addresses of loopback test packets.
After ALS is configured on the S6700-EI, MAC swap loopback becomes ineffective. When MAC swap loopback needs to be configured on the S6700-EI, do not configure ALS.
