Other: How Do I Enable Emergency State of a License?
If an accident, such as an earthquake, happens, you can set the
license status to Emergency. In this state, the license does not limit
resource usage. The device provides maximum number of resources to
meet service requirements. The Emergency state can only be used certain
times within the specified period.
You can enable the Emergency state of a license in any of the following
situations:
- A COMM license file has been activated and is in the Normal state.
- A DEMO license file has been activated and is in the Demo state.
- To continue the Emergency state of a license, the Emergency state
must be enabled on the last day of the previous Emergency state.
Run the
license emergency command to enable
the Emergency state.
Pay attention to the following
points after enabling the Emergency state:
- The Emergency state cannot be disabled manually.
- The Emergency state can only be enabled three times for each license,
and the license can keep in Emergency state for 7 days each time.
- To continue the Emergency state of a license, the Emergency state
must be enabled on the last day of the previous Emergency state.
- If you do not enable the Emergency state again when an Emergency
period expires, the license status is restored to that before the
license enters the Emergency state.
